It's been a pleasure

The main thing I notice in your work is that it holds together from nose to tail and it ends up looking finished. It's really not an easy thing to accomplish.

Whether you're after an original paint scheme or something custom, Larry's work and attention-to-detail is amazing. I can't imagine sending my tanks, fenders and side covers to anyone else.

After seeing Larry's GS1000S in Moto Retro Illustrated, I knew there was plenty of potential in my old, beat up bike. I saw his work in Cycle World and Bikexif.com, and was happy to learn that he was soliciting work.

If you have ever done motorcycle bodywork before, you know what a painstaking, time consuming process it is. The GS1000S color scheme is not simple, and, when I contacted Larry, I was prepared to hear a price far in excess of his quote.

I got a bargain. The finish is as close to perfect as I have seen. The bike is stunning.

Thanks Larry!

Larry,

I just opened the box. Everything showed up in one piece and without a scratch. In short, all I can say is "I am really pissed off!". I entrusted you to spray a $1600 paint job that I could put on my bike, ride it like its stolen, and enjoy. Instead, you failed miserably and gave me a $3000 piece of motorcycle nirvana that will now require a full bike restoration (I.e., more work for me), so that I can claim the nicest RC30 on the fricken planet.

Dammit Larry, I should sue you for false advertising and providing too much value for my money.

On a serious note, you have earned all my future business when it comes to paint - you did a phenomenal job.

From my first phone conversation with Larry it was clear that he is 100% passionate about his work. Besides knowing how to paint he is very helpful with picking colors and schemes. He always had time to answer any questions I had and was willing to offer his opinions regarding any design thoughts I had. He was always available by both phone and email. He kept me posted on the progress of the project and sent pics as it progressed. I truly enjoyed every minute spent dealing with him during my project. If I ever need any painting done he will be the first and only person I will contact. I look froward to the opportunity to work with him again. The satisfaction I got when I opened the box containing my body work was well worth every penny spent.

Thank you Larry!

As you can see from the pictures of my 78 1000 E projects Larry is the Picaso of classic bike painting. Hands down one of the nicest guys I have dealt with. We talked over every detail and he kept me informed as to what was happening. If you want a class job and class service, then I strongly recommend you give him a call. Remember..you get what you pay for...and you'll get every dime's worth from him.

I received my parts from Larry today. I will post some pictures later, and hope I can capture the fantastic job. As nice as the pictures Larry posted look, they simply do not do his work justice.

Larry mentioned he has the "colors dialed in", no doubt! In the pictures, the white looks bright. In person, it has that slight off white look that works perfect with the blue.

Maybe I don't have sensitive finger tips, but I can't feel any decals!!

Not being an artist, I doubt I can describe it well, but, the paint has this incredible depth to it. I have owned several cars, boats, trucks and bikes.....some right off the showroom floor and have never seen paint this nice.

I can't stop looking at it.

Thanks Larry

Damn Larry! That looks amazing! I told Larry the color combo I wanted but gave him artistic freedom on the lay out, and I am glad I did. I'm amazed at how great everything looks. It's very impressive how you can take somthing as simple as an idea and make it a work of art. I think it'll complete my build and take it to a whole other level.

Thanks Larry, you have a gift.

I spent the last few years restoring my 1973 Honda CB450 from top to bottom. The only thing left was paint, and I had been putting that off because I was reluctant to spend the money and then wonder if I would ever be happy with the result. Several years earlier, I had seen Larry's Goldwing Super Sport at Vashon Island. I spent quite a while walking in circles admiring it. In early 2010 when I saw an ad for Larry's work featuring that Goldwing, I knew I had found a painter I would be completely happy with. No more wondering, no questioning whether the paint job would be "good enough".

I dropped off my CB450 tank and side covers, spent about an hour discussing the details, and drove home. Larry matched the original color exactly from a tiny area on the back of the side cover. Everything else had faded and been rattle-canned over the years.

Every few days, I would get an email with step-by-step photos of the entire process. The bike looks perfect, and I couldn't be happier.
